Since 2015, IRIS has held a family friendly event each year to celebrate the United Nations International Day of Peace. This year, the Peace Day 5K and International Festival will be held at Raccoon River Park in West Des Moines. The day will include a 5K/Walk to help promote peace and an international Festival with different games and activities for people of all ages.

 

The Peace Day 5K run/walk is part of the IRIS International Festival in recognition of the UN International Day of Peace. Kick off the morning at 9:00 AM with a guided yoga session led by YogaSix in West Des Moines. All runners or sponsors will receive a custom RAYGUN T-shirt! All profits from the event support the IRIS Global Grants and Scholarships program around the world!
